Pro Bodybuilder Workouts

Won't a professional bodybuilders workout routine get me the best results?

Q. I have been searching the internet for the workout routines of the best pro bodybuilders of all time such as Sergio Oliva, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lee Haney, Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, etc. and I have tried all of their workouts. I train six days a week most of the time and sometimes I even workout twice a day. But I am not making the kind of gains I expected; in fact for the last month I actually think I'm getting smaller. What am I doing wrong?

A. For the average person to do a professional bodybuilders workout program is crazy, because he will just overtrain and make little to no progress, or like you said even loss muscle size and strength.

You have to understand that the top bodybuilders have superior genetics and all use steroids to enhance their ability to recover from their marathon workouts. Also most of them don't have to work a 9 to 5 job, so they even have that advantage over you and I. If wanted to try doing one of their routines, you should only do half or even a third as many sets as they do - but even that might be too much for some people.

If you are in an overtrained state from trying a top bodybuilders workout, I suggest you take at least full week to ten days off of training and start back on using the type of workouts you will find in The Martix Mass Bodybuilding Guide, it works big time for genetically average and drug free lifters.
